Ordering and Payment
Q. When I am ready to place my order how can I pay?
A. You can either pay through our website or call us directly, and we can take a payment over the phone.
Q. What happens if 57NorthPlank is not able to make my furniture in 12 days or less?
A. If our company is not able to have a product ready to be shipped in no more than 12 days from the time your order has been paid, we will reimburse you with a checked mailed out to you. You should receive the check-in no more than 15 days from the end of the 12 day period.
Q. What if I need to cancel my furniture order?
A. You have up to 48 hours after placing your order to cancel your order; Do this by calling 57NORTHPLANK directly.
Q. Do you ask for the entire furniture payment at the time of order?
A. Yes, because each piece of furniture is being made specifically for you, we require the entire balance to be made during ordering.
Q. What forms of payment do you take?
A. 57NORTHPLANK can take Discover, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards.
Q. If I decide later on to add more pieces to a particular collection, do you have a record of what I have previously purchased?
A. Yes, we do keep a record of every piece each client has ordered. Our Customer Service will be able to track your order through your email address.
Tailored Sizing
Q. For tailored furniture how precise are you able to make the pieces to the dimensions that work best for my home?
A. We guarantee that each piece of furniture will deviate no more than 1/4” from what you have requested.
Q. Is there a difference between tailored sized and custom sized?
A. No, we at 57NorthPlank use the two phrases interchangeably.
Q. Does it cost to have my furniture tailored in size?
A. We charge $50.00 to have your furniture piece custom sized. This will be credited to your purchase once you are ready to order
Q. Are there size limitations to what you can custom make for my home?
A. Yes, every piece is different. Depending on the use of drawers, doors, the thickness of woods along with other factors we can only size our furniture within certain dimensions. Talk to us at 57NORTHPLANK, and we can help you find the size and options that work best for you.
Q. How long does it take 57NORTHPLANK to design my custom sized piece?
A. Once 57NORTHPLANK has all the information we need from you it generally takes us 1-2 business days.
Q. How will I know exactly what my custom sized piece will look like?
A. We will email you line drawings of your furniture with many of the dimensions clearly shown in the drawings.
Q. How do I approve of the design once I am happy with it?
A. You will be asked to electronically sign your name several times on a form that includes the design and dimensions for your tailored size furniture piece.
Q. Do custom sized pieces take longer to make?
A. No, every piece of furniture, whether it is a standard sized piece or a custom tailored piece should take no more than 12 days for us to manufacture.
